Brazen Dropouts C&V gathering of the fools...

This one is the bomb.

Feel free to roll call. I'll be there with bikes and parts, and a wee bit of jerseys.
Has C&V to modern, vendors, etc. Enough of us, we can "congregate" in one area, and then perhaps lunch after.

The 29th Annual Brazen Dropouts Bike Swap will be held 9am - 2pm on Saturday January 11th, 2020,

and will once again be at the Alliant Energy Center - New Holland Pavilion in Madison, WI.

Vendor registration will open this Thursday, November 21st at 7pm.
A link to vendor registration and further information and pricing at bdbikeswap.com will be updated this Thursday night.

They unload our stuff for you, and then there's a feeding frenzy from about 7:45 to 8:45 as folks hawk each other. Then, another frenzy as the public comes in and looks for bargains. That settles down, and then people kind of settle in. Another small frenzy around 11:15 as people circle back for their choices right before they leave, which cuts down on carrying stuff around. Then you load up and go get a bit to eat and a bev.

I'm not sure who from my Cedar Rapids gang will be able to make it this year, but I'm game! Used to be a yearly tradition for us.

At the risk of sounding like a big dweeb, would people consider name tags that would help BikeForums members find each other?

I'll be there.

How much does it usually cost to get a table? I have enough stuff to share with another couple people.

Last year I paid $65 for a table. Registration details are not out yet, so we don't know the table charge until it's announced.

Yeah, and it was great chatting with you a couple years ago. I just know there are a bunch more BFers who I’ve probably walked past without knowing it. Maybe as the event draws closer, we can share what T-shirt we might be wearing or whatever.

+1 to some sort of visual identification. I'm introverted enough to not be comfortable accosting strangers, even those with a likely c&v connection. (Also, I forget names about as quickly as I shift gears, so a small hint is always helpful.)

I have a bunch of BF stickers that I made using the previous version of the logo. Would those work as an ID?

I plan to be there, just shopping, don't think I want to watch a table. Always looking for Campy and 50-52 cm frames. Would be nice to meet a few of you BF members and especially any participating in the BOC.

Yes.

On your registration form there is a place to request that. I write "Vintage bike parts, next to RobbieTunes". (Except use real names. )

Chris was looking for 50-52cm frames, and I just happen to have this 50cm VanTuyl with ribbed SLX. I'll bring it to the swap. Posting a bike we plan to bring might make it easier for BF forumites to identify each other.

I've got a couple. First, a Motobecane Grand Jubilé (61cm seat tube):

Second, a mystery frame (54.5 cm seat tube):
