I had some earlier this year at a party in Austin. It's ok. Super malty. Not really my thing. Kaz had it too. Maybe she had a different opinion.

Guess this is more of a "What SHOULD I BE drinking?" post.

I finally made it out to Seattle. What good local beers should I be drinking? I'm sure there are billions, but let's focus on things I can get on draught.

I love hoppy IPA's, I hate Wit beer and I really like pretty much everything in between. Also, I love me some dry cider. I mean real dry. Like french dry. No apple juice please.

If you make it over to Redmond try Black Raven, OMGSOFUKINGOOD. Their beers rarely make it outside of a 30 mile radius.

Thanks for all the suggestions. My bike gets here on Friday (hopefully in one piece) so I'll try to wheeze my way out to some of these spots this weekend. Got a friend in Fremont I'm supposed to hang out with Saturday so I'll definitely hit up that beer garden.

Uh, that would be torture with you on your beer diet and all. That takes some willpower to step into a brewery and just buy bottles, not drinking any...

Had two Sam Adams Summertime with lunch. Not great, but on special for $3.50 which is cheap for downtown/River North drinking.

While you are at it stop by add-a-ball, it rules, across from Brouwers.
