Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Don’t know the details of the shot. I get good drugs and the shots usually help. I’ll do a Lovenox bridge at get my INR checked the day before.

Hmmm. The rise and fall looks normal enough in isolation, but I'd question the fact that crested and continued to fall while you were still ramping up your effort for another minute plus.

Oh, and I never did get w'bal to work for me. Seems that I need to assign a value, and I just don't know how to go about guesstimating that.

I hope it gets you pain free and back on the bike, wherever they put it.

My shot outcomes were pretty good. I went from schlepping from bed to couch to riding to work and cave diving in ice cold water with my daughter (that hurt a bit).

Yeah, but the W'bal recovery tells you I'm actually recovering, based on power alone, so HR should drop.

The app gave me a W'bal starting value. It might be way off, but it does provide relative data.

I'm seeing w'bal continue to fall for another quarter mile in those graphs, no?

And I'm not seeing a W'bal suggestion for me. Under the settings tab, it just says "between 5,000J and 60,000J"

One of the comments on that page indicate that it's been discussed and debunked elsewhere... I haven't looked it up anywhere else, but it's hard to tell if the dark line behind/above the RD is from a wire or if it's a shadow from the chain. Fingers cross for the sake of your Hab, though.

I hope so....but if we don't get something like that, I will probably just get a new Ultegra or 105 Groupset for the Habanero in the next year or two.

That looks familiar.

We just need to tell WhyFi to go out and do a 40K TT.... Above 95 degrees helps too.

Okay, I just need to find a good spot. It may take me a while.

Actually, I've been thinking about adding some weight training over the winter, maybe two sessions per week or so. While it's been fun to work on my FTP and endurance rides this year, I think that I may embrace my skew towards short term power. When you do weight work, do you keep track of that in terms of fatigue? Or just go by feel?

You could post a question on the forum.

Oh, and another thing, I'm paying David a few bucks a month through Patreon. Maybe that's it
