Follis finally all cleaned up !

Here’s a few pics of my ‘73 Follis I purchased from its original owner who resides in Wichita KS. It took a bit of time to get it cleaned up but here it is!
He converted the shifters to bar-end which I chose to leave alone, I added an Ideale saddle to keep it as French as I can.

That’s the gf’s Colnago Super with my Follis.

It now wears a fresh set of Challenge tubulars on Mavic Sport rims. The Zefal pump is temporarily just for looks as it doesn’t work, I’m hoping to find someone to repair it.

This is a cool bike. Some Mothers polish will do wonders for your stem.

You're making me think I need to get my Mercier 300 fixed up.

I once owned the twin to your Follis which, oddly enough, also came from Wichita.

I’d have to tip my hat to the Colnago, darn gf finds the nicest bikes ! Her collection is pretty impressive.

LOL, I've got to admit. I just got done sorting out a rough ol' Super myself. First test ride later today with everything now properly working. But even with no brakes and crappy shifting the first couple rides on it showed a very capable frame.

There's been a Follis listed locally here in Utah for awhile now.

Follis on local classifieds
