NEW PR!!!!!!! WOOOOOOOT!
A little under 2.5 hours on the trainer today. It was surreal how fast the time went by but I was glad to get off in the end. I drank 3 L of water, and 20 oz of PowerBar Endurance.

11/23 - Woodstock CX race.
11/24 - 30-ish miles outside in Indy. Nice, cold, wet. SOOOOoooo much better than riding a trainer.

11/24- 23 miles. went out around 9:30 pm Was planning on doing some riding in the wet grass. That wet grass turned out to be fields of mud, so 22 of those miles were on the road.

11/25 - 18.9 miles
Far west Joliet / Shorewood area. (most of rides into winter will be in this area)
WX: Mainly sunny, little stiff NW wind. Upper 30's.
First decent ride in 12 days. Hoping to get a couple more rides in this week. One of them on Thanksgiving.

I've been sick at home all day and got through the boredom with the help of my BFFs.
Eventually I drug myself into the basement and only managed to do 45 minutes on the trainer. I did some simulated climbing in the 53x11 standing up for 15 minutes. That hurt.
oh yeah, and I got my cool Rock Racing hoodie today. High quality stuff. More so than anyone else I've ever tried.

I mostly do the Joliet Junction / Rock Run Greenway MUP + some for ~20 miles,
I&M Canal trail for ~40 miles when I have the time (not recently).
Was last out 11/22 & 11/23. Sat was pretty cold, saw a few recumbant riders.
Sun was warmer and sunny, didn't see anyone else enjoying it.

I'm from the Longleat subdivision 1/2 mile east of I-55 and 1/2 mile north of Black Rd. in Joliet. Rock Run trail nearby.
I usually perfer to bike in western part of Joliet west of Essington Rd. all the way west to Ridge Rd. and maybe 2 miles further out. I seem to get better mileage out there. I sometimes ride out to Minooka/Channahon area and the Plainfield area. I've also ridden out to New Lenox and Frankfort via the Old Plank Rd. trail. I'll sometimes get dropped off in Morris, Oswego, Naperville (I've riddien up there myself but not this year) and a couple other places.
As for weekends, I likely will be too busy til the end of the year (work at mall). Will try to ride as much as the weather will allow til the snows move in. Likely will only do 15-20 milers til it snows then will only do mainly nearby rides on mild days until mid March then will start riding more. Ridden about 3,060 miles this year hoping to make it to 3,200 by end of year.

More gravel on 11/25 and 11/26. The cold is starting to affect my asthma. I might be relegated to the trainer sooner than I'd like.

I did 47.53 miles today at an average speed of 21.4 mph. I went back and confronted the bricks that took me down a couple weeks back.

Ugly, fat and crazy is no way to go through life.
::EDIT:: I had to add in fat so you couldn't come up with a quip about me.

Today was more of a recovery, since I just couldn't get my fire burning hot enough. When I got home I realized that I was overdressed and put ice on myself and I feel better.

40.75 in 2 hours 20 minutes. Recovery from yesterday's trainer session.
It was really a pleasant day with light traffic and some sunshine. I only saw one other rider today, though.

25 miles this morning. West to the "lower" Black River Park MUP, North to the Lake, back East to Avon Lake then back South to the house. Windy and chilly and my legs felt like lead. The sun was nice though

11/27- 23 miles.
Last night called for an hour on the trainer. I then drank like a mofo, but was determined to ride the next moring. Couldnt find time to ride this morning, so I snuck out right after I wolfed down my dinner.
I was planning on doing 35-40 miles, but for the second time in a month my(mitchs actually) wheel broke another spoke. Called for a ride because I didn't want to break anymore spokes, and it was so wobbly it was annoying. I need to upgrade the wheels soon.
