SF Bay Area - Primavera Century - April 20, 2019
Primavera Century
Ride the best of California San Francisco Bay Area's scenic roads on the Primavera Century! Climb the challenging Calaveras Wall, then cycle the scenic route along Calaveras Reservoir. Ride past Livermore vineyards and wineries, and wind turbines of Altamont Pass. After lunch at a winery, it’s up and over the tree-shaded Palomares Road with a thrilling descent to Niles Canyon. Return to start for a hearty meal from one of several food trucks, included in your registration.
Last year we demonstrated our commitment to our riders by getting Calaveras Road opened just for the Primavera! This year we won't have this large hurdle as Calaveras is expected to open to all on January 1 (road is ready, now the public agencies just have to get their paperwork done).
Our 2019 ride will be on Saturday, April 20.
Four Beautiful Routes to choose from!
Century: 100 miles
85 mile Option
Metric Century: 100K ~63 miles
Fun Ride: 25 miles, mostly flat, 464′ ascent
Check out the Routes and Travelogue on our website for more info, with all detail at the link at the top of this post.
Registration opens on December 1, with prices increasing each month before the ride.

Registration for the Primavera is now open at Primavera Century. At $65 for registration during the month of December, this is one of the best values in the country for a fully supported century ride. Prices increase $5 every month, and the ride has sold out a month in advance during the past years so don't miss out if you want to join us on this ride.

Great question. You require two registration fees. Almost every cost (e.g. food, insurance, etc.) Is doubled and those that aren't are volunteer services from the local bike club, so there isn't a tandem discount. This is the same as most (all?) other centuries and charity rides.

5 days left for our early-bird $65 pricing for distance rides. Primavera ? Registration
Price increases $5 on January 1, 2019.
And yes, Calaveras will be open...eventually...and in time for our ride. The road has been ready for a couple months based on information we have received; the delay is all about the handoff between government agencies.

Calaveras is open! They kept pushing the date, but this time around they pushed the date back to Feb 1, and then still opened up in early January.
For the Primavera, the distance rides are $70 (same price for any of the distances of 65k - 100m), and we also have a 25-mile family friendly fun ride that is $30 for adults / $15 for children under 16. Prices will increase $5/month until we sell out, and as with the past 3 years, we're again on track to sell-out several weeks before the ride.

The Primavera Century is on track for selling out distance rides again. Our current price is $70, which will go up to $75 on February 1. Don't get left out - register now at Primavera ? Registration
Calaveras Rd is a wonderful ride now, and on the Primavera the downhill is on freshly paved asphalt...wonderfully smooth. I just rode it yesterday and it was very nice!

Our 2019 Primavera Century is quickly approaching 80% sold, 2 months ahead of the ride, and is on track to sell out again.
Secure your spot and save $5 by clicking here to register before the final price increase on March 1 to $80.
Also remember we have a great 25-mile family fun ride, only $30 for adults and $15 for children under 16.
Jersey pre-orders are over, but they will still be available on the day of the ride in limited sizes. Socks can still be ordered during your online registration, or by clicking here for our direct clothing order form.
