Local bike advocates have been working on this for years. Now we will see what really happens. https://bikeeastbay.org/ will be reacting soon.

Cities make some streets one way, which of course mean often you will have to drive further to get where you want to park. So why not have some streets reserved for bikes. Seems the same to me.

Further it goes without saying that big cities have many streets. So why not reserve one every so often for bike and peds. It seems the logical thing to do.

Early experiences not so good. See: https://www.sfgate.com/living-in-sf/...ike-201577.php

Why to car drivers need to knock down everything? It's seems like a mental health issue to me.

I wonder about people who search through all my back postings to find one to throw back at me. Is that what they teach you in troll school?Do you have special tools to match subjects or just phrases? In my own defense those Lime bikes did turn out to be a useless bunch of junk. Maybe the IPO investors made some money but they are out of my town!

Getting back on topic, Brampton is a suburban town of Toronto.

Brampton does what Toronto won’t do: closes road lanes to make space for pedestrians https://www.thestar.com/news/gta/202...destrians.html
