New guy here...
Well hello! I am new and had to find how and where to post and found this. I am 69 year old guy cyclist and recently bought a 90s Cannondale M300 to upgrade. Hence, my attraction to this site. I reside in southwest central Pennsylvania and -- as it is early February -- am biking on a trainer in my living room. My intent is to find some fellow aficionados with an interest in refurbishing these old steeds for robust gravel path use. So, there you have it.

Welcome. I'm a newbie, too. Looking to get my ten posts so that I can "take off the training wheels" and post some pics.

Welcome! Getting an old steel road bike into gravel shape is a great idea. I picked up a road bike a few years ago that I was planning on flipping, but ended up squeezing some 35mm gravel tires on it, and it's served me really well.
