Mostly lurker first time poster
Hello from California!
I got my first bike, as an adult, spring of 2019. It was used specialized hardrock. I picked it up on CL to go on a ride with friends. Since then I’ve become more of a roadie. I purchased a mid 2000’s Specialized Roubaix to train for a half Ironman. That did it. I’ve since sold it. I built up a 2014 Scott Addict 20 for my road rides. I purchased a base model 2019 Specialized Diverge. For gravel and light off-road and upgraded it to a 2x GRX groupset. I am know delving into steel. I picked up an 83 Raleigh Olympian for $40 on CL and stripped it. My goal is to clean up all the parts of rust, re-grease it all, and put it back together tuned and ready to ride. I mainly wanted to learn wrenching on a vintage bike. Anyhow, that’s me.
