Well, finished for now. I used spare parts just to get it together so I could ride it. I’ll spend some time seeing if it’s going to be a good fit for me - if so, I’ll probably start swapping in nicer parts.

Good eye! The brake cable kept binding because of the angle it came out of the guide, so I gave it a straight shot with the clamp. I may still need to find a few more parts - especially for the brake cables.

The tires are clinchers - older Clement Strada LLG 700x28s that I picked up at a swapmeet. We’ll see how they roll.

Aha, I found this thread. Very nice. Those LGG tires happen to be the same as the ones on my International. Small world. But mine are the 32mm size. They're decent but not amazing tires. I also got them in a swap, so I couldn't turn them down for my commuter bike.
