Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

The stupid Toll Brothers development at the end of our street plus episodic rains have resulted in large areas of standing, stagnant water the past few weeks. I have also noticed a major increase in mosquitoes lately.

Think there is a connection?

How do you figure this? The week ends on Sunday.
I don't see a way for Sat and Sun to be in different weeks. Unless you're talking about the following Saturday, of course.

Semi-inside joke between Hummer and I. Some time back, there was a guy saying that it was dumb that Strava weeks ended on Sunday, rather than Saturday. He didn't understand the concept that, with the typical M-F work week, Sat and Sun should, for all physiological reasons, be lumped together instead of split.

Whatever the reason, the time zone of the group isn't controlling. My ride this evening would be well into Monday there.

Speaking of time, we're about to overtake WhyFi again. It will feel good to have the belt back.

I would not ride whereLAJ rides. I would go completely off road if there were no other options. I have become alergic to traffic.
