Today on GMR and Tumbling Go Pro
Gina and I on GMR with Herb & Alyce. Gina looked even better this time on the climb.
My Go Pro took a tumble at 30 mph. Stupid tabs on the connector link snapped. Good thing we were on a straight section with no cars. It ended up in the lane right where the tires would have run it over. Still working fine, few scratches on the case but he recorder untouched. I posted footage of the tumble in slo mo at the end of the video so we could see through the eyes of the recorder. As you cans see, Gina almost ran it over.
Of course a tasty cheap meal after the ride.

Nice!
I hate how some riders have this super high cadence during climbs while i'm about to die on my easiest gear barely making 60 rpm...
And they probably don't use a compact either...

That will come with more climbing experience. The more fit you get, the better everything climbing related gets.

You guys have been on GMR at least 3 weeks in a row now. Makes me think you're training for something! Anything you want to share?

Great video! What mount were you using when this happened? I just ordered the GoPro brand bar mount, but almost went with the K-Edge brand, 4X the price was hard to swallow.

But the mount did not break, the tabs that git pinned between the mating tabs that are screwed together are what broke.
I will go back to using a tether on the road now to prevent a loss.
Yeah, the k edge is expensive and again, its the tabs of the link that broke, not anything on the roll bar mount.
