This is a pic of the riders in the 1992 Rosarito/Ensenada 50 miler. I actually managed, with the help of several other guys, to finish in 2 hours, 31 minutes. Those were the good old days! Do you have any bike related pics from your "youth"?

Very few early photos of me, as I was the one taking the pictures. Here is one from 1967 on the flight line, New River air base, USMC.

You don't get much more youth than this.
My first bike. I had already taught myself to ride on a Schwinn Pixie, but tackling the Fleetwing was a whole new lesson.

1974, solo trip on Gitanne Super Corsa somewhere north of the Saint Lawrence River. It snowed a bunch in Vermont where I caught a plane back to Iowa.

With Beta Biker shoes and the Bell Biker hard-shell helmet... I was smart enough to burn all of them.

With my niece, who is holding my wife's Raleigh. This is probably around 1990. Is that a Brooks saddle I have? IIRC, I bought that bike from an LBS in Ann Arbor around 1976. I don't remember what brand it was -- very low end. Anyone?
This picture was taken from our driveway on Tunnel Road in Berkeley.

Is the old enough? I'm at an age it doesn't seem that long ago....
Oh, wait, this is better! Sometime in the 70s. Although I'm out of high school, that's my old P.E. shirt. I can't explain those shorts or socks though...

Thought a bit before posting this as its embarrassing... circa mid-80's, when mountain biking was just catching on. I am on my fully rigid Kuwahara and I thought I was something. Notice the oversize t-shirt (not jerseys for me back then) and a fanny pack versus Camelbak plus dorky helmet and flat bike shoes... Just is when I thought those rocks were really hard stuff!
This one also in the 80's, mountain biking in Alaska - I think it was about 10pm at the time...
Another dorky photo - riding the Kuwahara in Mammoth, CA...

Don't think so. It was a Bell, but I'm not sure what type it was. Could have been a V1 Pro. That was a long time ago.
Pamestique, don't worry about being "dorky". Weren't we all dorks back then?
