Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Awesome! I sent an ebay msg to that seller and he re-created the listing. When I bought before, shipping is $4 for the first tube and $2 for additional.

So really it should be called 4 buck tubes (which is probably close to the actual intrinsic value of an inner tube -- at least in my mind; the market apparently thinks otherwise!)

but they're not listing "two buck tubes!" anymore. Anybody know of any other sources like that?

(FYI I need wide presta tubes suitable for 700x2")
I did not know buying used tubes was a thing? have you had good luck with these?

Yes, they are 'used' tubes, but never patched, which means 'new' to me. I'd guess they are taken out of tires when a bike shop does a tubeless conversion, esp. for a new bike.

Just picked up a new Giro Helios Spherical helmet, 40% off Giro website. Was going to be 15% off with first time code, but tried code recommended by browser. GOGIROPRO40. They had a good sale around early July, but I missed out. My current Specialized helmet is 12 years old and isn't MIPS.

I ordered, posted, then clicked on the link in post #3132 to make sure it works, and it was still available. I guess it sold out in a couple of hours; no surprise.

There is a rather less understated version on sale: Selle Italia SLR TDF Superflow Kit Carbonio Saddle - Components (competitivecyclist.com), but not really a good deal.

Trek's website is selling their Bontrager Solstice Road shoe for $45. Save the shipping and have them delivered to your local Trek shop. I use the previous year's model of these and they work great for me!

Giant road shoes

Looks like a pretty good deal. If I hadn't just bought a new pair about 2 months ago I'd be all over this.

https://www.giant-bicycles.com/us/bo...road-mens-shoe

$37

Wow, that is pretty good for a S-Works loaded version. If I had not recent bought a road bike, I’d have grabbed that. Love the new Roubaix!

This being a sale season of older stock for Specilaized stuff
Road tires....
They have the Turbo Pro 700x24c for $27.45 .... good price for a nice performance tire (240g)
BUT !!!
There are online retailers listing the same tire for $19.25 - Great price !
just do a web search for that tire and many purchase options will pop up - you can pick the retailer you prefer to work with....
Ride On
Yuri
EDIT: also, Planet cyclery has the Vittoria Rubino Pro G2, 700x23 for $23.45. I'm still quite fine with running 23s & 25s... at 145 lbs, 80psi feels quite OK these days...

7Mesh has a discount code, 'AprilShowers', [20% discount] that is currently active. It also applies to the items that they have on sale.
