Just a note before someone posts a "for sale" item. "For trade" is ok in this forum, but selling is not allowed. Selling is limited to the For Sale forum only.
If there's enough traffic to keep this thread on the radar I'll make it a sticky.

Bike Trade?
Anyone want to trade a complete bike or frame? I have an 08 Bianchi Axis but would love to find a Lemond Poprad. If it is older (2004 or so) I would still be interested. Obviously, we cant sell in this thread, but we could work out an even trade.

I have a new set of 29er wheels that will take a Shimano 8 or 9 speed cassette. I'll dig them out and get a better discription if someone needs them.

Sorry, these do not have disc hubs, the sidewalls are machined for rim brakes.

Have: Shimano WH-R550 wheelset
Bike shop tensioned and trued and perfectly true for about 1000 miles.
Want: 32 spoke wheelset. Ultegra/Open pro or similar would be great.

Have: a 02 54 Jamis Nova frame/fork (631 steel, kinesis fork) in good shape. The paint is chipped but these were known for that.
Want: a SS cross frame/fork in similar size. Doesn't need to be steel just fit and have either EBB or track ends.
I'll post a pick soon.
PM me

I have a project ('87 Bianchi Grizzly) that I wouldn't mind having a set of 29er wheels for. I need to be able to mount some Big Apple's on them. What would you like to trade for?
