Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Vagal part correct. Cardioversion is not. If Vagal does not work they give you a medicine called adenosine which gives your heart a “hard reset.” Not pleasant for a couple seconds but works nicely.

I believe the Doc said the Vagal works most of the time and they like to try it prior to giving medicine.

It's not witch doctory if they can explain why it works.

"Let's try this and see if it works" is a key element of witch doctory.

After about an hour it was steady in the low 80's.
Hoping for a good report.

Agree. The medicine is interesting though. It really does stop your heart for a second or two. Patients state it gives you a very unpleasant hollow feeling in your chest. It must be given IV and very fast because it's metabolized in a few seconds.

indoor miles don't count in the Strava Addiction Club. I have no choice but to ride the road if I want to be a member in good standing.

I didn't call her, I just happened to see her in a parking lot. After I rode up, I did my best to look tired, beat and maybe sick. She bought the act and suggested she should drive me home.

Yep. I wouldn't mind moving there. Oddly enough, for being a relatively hilly state, they have more than their fair share of recumbent and trike shops. I'd be right at home.
