To the C&Vers of BF: do you have a local C&V community or do you go it alone?

Probably like most, my regular miles are mostly solo.
But there is a very good support base for C&V in the Puget Sound area.
And the greater Portland area, only a 3 hour freeway drive.
My Enthusiasm for C&V comes from riding with others who appreciate our vintage interest.
This thread could use a few pics (as always)
A ride from years ago. Mostly Forum folks (if not all)
For goofy fun days
Friends to lead you new places. 1,000 Turn Tour of Portland
For challenging yourself on the Olympic Peninsula Hurricane Ridge run
For those nutty days it's best to have a friend around.
Riding alone is OK, but who would photograph the 'action shots, while rolling'? (edit: and supervise the CF (correctional facility) inmates)
and solo????... ..
.. where's the communal food fest in that?

I've got Poguemahone nearby. As far as I'm concerned, he's a bike community by himself.

Pretty much solo here, but I haven't been really into the group riding scene since 2013. There was one guy who had a vintage steel bike (maybe Fuji) but he bought a carbon bike and retired the steel one. Most of the guys I rode with were on carbon. They tolerated me, though.

C&V Community PNW
Wildwood, Those are great photos. I do most of my riding by myself, but I look forward to C&V group rides. Here are a few of mine. Tim seems to find his way into most of them?

Thank you, @Andy Antipas and @Wildwood for those photos and reminders of hugely fun C&V gatherings. Looks like we’re already thinking of another PNW ride/meet around the Cascade Bike Swap on March 9. Yahoo!

We ( my wife and I) are going alone. We are cycling nuts initiated by necessity, but committed through passion to bikes. I am learning as I go with no community but that will be changing soon as am starting to research lbs's. There are quite a few here in Spokane and the valley. 1980-90's Schwinn mountain bikes (don't ask me why....can't explain it) stir my soul like nothing other. I guess its whatever keeps you cranking lol

That buddy I mentioned up the road from me is coming down for a ride. Should be great with sunny temps but might have some winds to contend with.
Hoping to to start a separate thread for it.
