Franken-road bike build

I honestly picked this bike up complete, just to part it out. (The father-in-law needed a new wheelset on his old 10 speed.) I had the donor bike laying around the garage for a couple of weeks and it started to grow on me. It's totally nothing special, Ross Gran Eurosport, but I actually didn't own a road bike... So this happened...
  • Slightly scuffed/used Giant connect saddle and different clamp
  • New cables and housings all around (fixed the slack in the derailleur cable after the pic...)
  • Quill stem leftover from an old Huffy, happily was an identical diameter
  • Riser bar from an old Magna...It might be blasphemous, but I just cannot get into drop bars
  • Cheapest grips on Amazon...
  • Sunrace SLM10 friction shifters
  • XLC canti levers
  • Kenda tires (the original ones were turning into dust as I removed them...)
I had to remove the oldschool reflectors and decals...they were so ridiculously goofy looking. (I ride with a LED headlight and tail light anyway.)
Also ended up picking up another wheelset for the father-in-law just to swap the originals back on to the donor ;-)

Nice! (It's really a hybrid, but if it identifies as a road bike I'm okay with that.)

Maybe it will grow into a graceful swan.
