Campagnolo Croce B.B. spindle
Can anyone tell me what the correct spindle length should be for a Italian threaded, double ring, Croce crankset and B.B. combo? I have seen 70x110, 111, and 115mm. Does it really matter with these small differences in length? Was it asymmetrical? Are the cups the same as a SR/NR B.B. set? Thanks for any insight!

Ideally needs to be Campagnolo taper as well - somewhere between ISO and JIS.
The matching BB found as NOS is your best bet.
The problem is that if the tapers are too short with these older crranks, the back of the crank *can* come up against the shoulder at the end of the taper and cracking of the crank is one possible outcome. Don't mount on a JIS axle, you probably won't get enough spindle penetration through the crank (and if you do, due to taper stretch, the above problem may occur) ...
