One of the more ambitious ads I’ve seen in a while. Feel bad for the guy if he really paid $1000 for that.

Water bottle is an additional $75, but maybe that includes the cage?

There's only that one photo and I do not see a drive chain or belt for the engine to be able to propel the bike, so that speed thing is suspect. What I do see is a bent unicrown fork that was then installed backwards to keep the front wheel away from the downtube.

With apparently no brakes, this is a likely outcome.

At least the saddle is pointed in the right direction!

it likely has a coaster brake. You can buy those motors with the mounting brackets and everything else as a kit for about $150 I think. A number of folks around here have them. The problem is that the size the motor means that they only fit in the cruiser type frames, which are almost always equipped only with a coaster brake. Very safe . . .

xxxxxxx

This one may be a scam, I could have sworn I saw the same bike posted for sale in NJ on CL or FB a few weeks ago.
Same bent fork, bent seat post, missing chain, plug wire, fuel lines etc. It was cheaper though, something like $150 or so.
I looked a minute ago and didn't see it listed now though.

Not a single mention of China from this CL regular, but cringe-y in a different, unnecessary way.

Black Bikes Matter, too. - Bianchi Iseo - 19" - $450 (Mpls.)

https://minneapolis.craigslist.org/h...248691574.html

Black bikes matter, too. As a matter of fact, all bikes should matter. If your bike no longer matters, you need a better bike.
When your bike matters, you're eager to ride.
'Pride to ride' if your bike matters, and this beautiful Bianchi Iseo hybrid is chomping at the bit to giddy-up.
'Excellent' condition, 'like new' even, and clean as new. Seldom ridden, stored indoors. Gift worthy, suitable for giving.

The facts of the matter...

Bianchi Iseo: 2013 - 2014 model year - M$RP $600+.
19" aluminum frame. Lightweight, lean, nimble, cat-quick, yet strong-like-bull. 21½" top tube - 31" standover - 19" seat tube.
Aluminum fork.
27 gears/speeds ( 3 x 9). EZ Fire trigger shift.

Fast rolling hybrid tires, 700 x 32 matching Kenda Kwest.
Straight wheels, each with 32 heavy load, stainless steel spokes. Wheel bearings cleaned, greased, and reset.
Deluxe saddle, grips, shifters, and levers -all cleaned and sanitized.

And its quiet, library compliant; no screeching brakes, no squeaky saddle, no howling tires, and no drive-me-crazy freewheel click! click! click!

Color: Gloss Black with Gold lettering
Comes with bottle cage and a leg to stand on.

Not needy at all, it's ready to roll.

$450 firm. Serious inquiries will include your phone number -No number, No reply ( skulduggery abounds on CL ). - SASA.
