Yes, another "recommend a bike" thread
I am looking for my first mountain bike in about 15 years. I have several road and gravel bikes currently. I feel like I have searched high and low for a bike that matches my wish list and I keep coming up empty other than the Specialized Fuse Expert which has a slightly more upright HT angle than I prefer. Does another bike exist in my price range (sub $2k) or am I going to have to build something or increase my budget for carbon or titanium?
Must have:
- thru axles
- 66-67* HT angle
- tubeless ready
- 27.5+
- 1x drivetrain
Nice to have:
- internal routing
- dropper post
- at least SLX or NX level components
Bikes that are close
- Trek Roscoe (boost 141 and qr rear axle)
- SC Chameleon (too expensive in R build, no dropper post)
- Diamondback Sync'r (no internal cable routing, deore components)
- Kona Big Honzo DL (67.5 HT angle, no internal routing)
