WTB 1" headset hanger and spacer

My Raleigh International is in need of a couple silver 1" headset spacers and a keyed 1" headset brake cable hanger. My headset hanger overflows onto the wrench flats on the headset cup and I cannot adjust it properly. Ideally the hanger is in excellent condition and sits flat so I can get at the wrench flats with my headset wrench. There isn't enough thread to put more spacers under it to get at the flats as is. The spacers are to replace the temporary hex shaped spacer I have on there.

Yeah, I'm not sure why those "cupped" hangers were so popular. I suspect they were intended to be used with headsets with a notched lockring to hold adjustment. The hanger would go on top of the lockring, and then the top nut would sit on the hanger.

In any case, my preferred hanger is this one:

I'm not sure who made it; Dia-Compe, maybe. But look around, they're out there.

I think I don't have a spacer, but I likely have a hanger for you.

You offer no measurements, so just saying..

Pauls funky monkey is about 1cm thick, where it would grip the threaded steerer tube.

I took a French Mafac Cable hanger, filed it round inside , don't need the key tab, and it woks adequately ..

Here's an NOS Weinmann one on eBay:

I prefer the ones with a quick release.

I've got one you can have. Pretty sure it came off a Raleigh Super Course of about the same vintage. Not quite as pretty as your pic. Shoot me a PM and let me know.

Found this one at the bike co-op

Hi,

I was volunteering at the bike co-op last night and found this cable hanger headset spacer. Its yours if you want it.

If you still need headset spacers, I will take a look in the used parts bin for you.
