UN55 Bottom Bracket
Is it possible to damage a cartridge style BB by over torquing a crank arm? I am hearing and feeling in my feet a clicking noise only when I pedal and in either chainring or any cog.

I could imagine over torquing a SQ. taper arm "could possibly" crack the square hole.

Those are pretty robust bottom brackets, so I doubt you could damage them.
Clicks and squeaks are annoying but try the "cheap" fixes first, like checking the chain ring bolts or swap out the pedals if you have a second set.
Although this is a point of great debate, I usually grease the tapered interface on the BBs.

Just like any other clicks and things you hear, you need to track them down. Eliminate other possibilities when able.

Is yours a 73mm X 122.5, by any chance? I have an extra one around (new) if you can't find it anywhere.
I found that, when I first changed my BB-UN55 a few months ago, I had that same click. It turned out my crank was LOOSE, not over-tight. Once I gave it a turn with the ratchet, the noise went away and never returned.

Thanks again all, this morning on a ride my bike was really making noises, even a squeak. At a stop, I jumped up and down on each pedal and all quiet until I grabbed the brakes and begun to rock forward and back. It’s then I realized the noise was coming from the headset. I went home and adjusted same......all quiet once again!
