Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Is Road Bike Action (RBA) anything like Moutain Bike Action (MBA)? Personally, I always found MBA to be really stupid fluff.

Velonews and Cycling Weekly. Bicycling is politically trending the wrong way.

I agree. Bicycling Magazine was getting boring and “worn,” but improved briefly when Bill Strickland became Editorial Director. However, lately, they are trying way to hard to be “woke.” I mean, I get it, black American ride bikes too. Now get back to reviewing bicycle trends, new products and gear.

I quite like the ride reports in Cyclist. The focus on actually riding vs gear. But I find after a while it all gets a bit samey so I don't subscribe continually. I might take up one of their 6 month offers once in a while and keep them for future route ideas (particularly the alpine routes).
