I recently purchased a Focus Paralane 9.8
In looking at some forum photos of the underside of the BB I notice there is a hinged cover plate that covers where the various cables plug into the motor assembly.
My bike does not have this cover plate and I am wondering if this is missing or is no longer required but am concerned that this may expose the wiring to water and dirt.
