Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Shoe fit

When I first bought my clipless shoes they were nice and snug, but recently I have purchased soem cycling socks which are thinner and while riding my shoe seems noticeably looser on my foot. The shoe also looks a little wider, so I'm guessing the shoe has broken in and maybe its time to get a new pair. Is there any rules to buying new shoes for the bike, like a half size smaller or something? It seems I'm constantly doing a lot of adjusting my legs and feet cause of the shoes and take my focus off of just cycling. I feel like I'm constantly looking for that sweet spot, but then I get it and my foot moves and it's gone again. Any tips?
