Not much to do there, honestly. DA7700 is top notch.

Beautiful bike. Sold in the Netherlands, right? But built by whom?

Concorde was available in the North America. I believe they were distributed through Veltec-Boyer in the USA, They were definitely distributed by Veltec in Canada, where they were quite popular around this time (very early 1990s). The Racer Sportif shop from Toronto used them as team bicycles and even styled their jerseys after the PDM team.

Yeah I'd forgotten that it was the PDM team and it was an Italian built bike right?

My understanding is that there have been various sources over the years, including some built by Giovanni Pelizzoli (sp?) of Ciocc fame.

That World Championship decal is a reference to Rudy Dahaenen's' win for the Belgium national team in 1990. Rudy rode a Concorde for PDM in 1990 but switched to Panasonic-Sportlife for 1991. I suspect that is why the decal says 1990, instead of the more common 1990-1991. The World Championships are traditionally held near the end of the season, so the reign would actually be 1990-1991. In this case, the pro road race was held September 02, 1990, in Tochigi, Japan. That's late enough in the calendar year that any bicycle bearing the decal is likely no earlier than a 1991 model. It's worth noting that Dirk De Wolf, a team mate of Dhaenens on both the Belgium and PDM teams, finished 2nd just behind Rudy. So, 1990 was a very good World Championship for Concorde. Lastly, Jonathan Boyer was the assistant team manager for PDM in 1990, so there's the tie to Veltec-Boyer being the USA distributor for Concorde.

Progress
cleaned the few marks on the frame
thought I might have to use compound to remove them but surprise acetone took care of them
mixing up paint to match is still going on
I will post pics when it's done
here are a few parts chosen for their good condition: 7800 group and 3t stem

I just need a 175mm crank to complete the parts list

Wow, that's a beauty. Looks vary similar to my Concorde Aquila (+/- 1 year - mine has the 89-90 world cup team sticker instead of the world champion sticker yours has) with the most obvious differences being that yours has much cleaner paint and the original fork and mine is SLX. Does yours have the Italian Tricolore on the top tube? That supposedly is the definitive marker of a top tier Italian contract-build, but that may have varied by year as well.

Columbus SL without Campagnolo dropouts...almost like a peanut butter sandwich with fluffernutter instead of jelly.

Pretty bike though.
