Addiction LXXVIII

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Not surprising. People are probably looking for emotional intimacy even more right about now.

If you built wheels, you are a real wheelbuilderer. Just a slow one.

I'm in quarantine land for 2 weeks, technicly on 24 hour call till monday morning. Then on call 6:30 to 3:00. Emergency only.
I could use a beer. Preferably the 6th or 7th one, but I have to refrain.
This has been a long 2 weeks.

At the time? I’d still have her baby.

Last time I was riding in Italy (2013) we stopped at a villa in the Prosecco region for coffee and pastries. There were photos of her on the wall taken during her stay there.

Does the fact that I mailed a check rather than pay online with an added $3.89 "convenience fee" mean I'm cheap? Or thrifty?

People are going to be thinking twice about hugs and handshakes for a long time. Sex, I seem to remember being somewhat harder to resist.

Why not just don't bring the packaging into the house and wash your hands when you're done. And I'm the phobic one in our house.
