Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Yep. Glass milk bottles.

All soda bottles were glass, too. I don't think plastic was invented yet.

You likely didn't have room for two TV's in the same house, either.

Me, too. I was about 4 or 5 and the darn thing barely worked. We lived south of Champaign, IL and got 2 channels half-way clear. After moving to the Peoria area, we got 2 and sometimes a third.

That's why there are covers on the boxes. So the birds can't get to the bottles peck through the tops to the cream.

Now GET OFF MY LAWN!!

Or having to move the rabbit antenna around for your old man. Soon as you let go, the picture would degrade and you ended up standing there using your body for the antenna.

That's cause there were only 3 tv stations transmitting a signal and we were lucky to get a clear picture after fiddling with the rabbit ears.
