Hi all
New member in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Lifetime bike rider. Not particularly serious, but I’ve always had a bike (youth, 10 speed back in the day, mountain bike, hybrid) for fun, fitness, getting around, etc.
I’m probably a common story around here lately:
COVID has me using my bike more since gyms are closed, maintenance needs are increased requiring new skills and the thoughts for possible gear upgrades.
So I’m here to learn, listen, pick up tips/knowledge/skills to continue on the journey.
My current bike, a Specialized hybrid purchased in Berkeley circa 2006, may be due for retirement to secondary status and I’m sure the selection process will be educational.
Cheers

Thanks all
I'm a veteran of hobby forums on the web.
They're consistently great places to feed your imagination, expand your knowledge and generally increase your engagement & enjoyment.
And they're inhabited by helpful, friendly people.
BF being no exception!!
I'm in no terrible rush for a new bike, as I'm learning lots about my existing bike(s), keeping them running, etc.
This post is to help get me to 10, so I can post a pic!! LOL
Cheers
