New Bike??
All my freinds say it time for me to get a new bike. I have a 1998 S-Works hardtail with a SID front fork that I bought new. Almost all XTR components. I love this bike. Just had the fork rebuilt and stuck a new set of tires on it. I have tried full suspension bike and think they are OK but I have so much confidence in my old bike that I just can't see getting a new one. Am I nuts?

Bikes: Bike list is not a resume. Nobody cares.

Not nuts . . . but you are robbing yourself of an even more amazing experience. Just think how much more confidence and abandon you will have bombing sections on a modern machine after you had it a few years .
Keep 'old reliable' for an occasional change of pace; but venture out and fall in love with a new favorite.
