How to sell an ebike?

i am trying to sell my ebike but can’t figure out pricing or the best place to list it. This forms marketplace will not allow me to post the bike. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I sold my wife's Pedego on Craigslist. There's a lot to be said for selling locally. CL, Offerup are good choices.

As for pricing, if it's a name brand ... look at CL and Ebay (filter for "closed/sold" only). If its not a name brand, use your best guess and be prepared to drop the price if/when it doesn't sell.

Knowledgable buyers will be most concerned about battery health; if you've kept really detailed charging logs that may go a long way to ease their concern(s).

I sold my ebike on CL a long time ago. Take the time to write a good ad, with lots of detail, photos, and links to info on the bike. Be clear about your charging technique and how many cycles your battery has gone through. And specify why you are selling the bike (as long as it's not because it sucks, lol). For pricing, I just watched ebay "sold" for a little while and estimated from there, based on the relative condition of my bike. Good luck

I have sold three on ebay, one locally on Facebook. The local market in Michigan is generally poor for ebikes and high end bikes.

All my high end bikes and ebikes have shipped to Cali, Washington and Florida.

The local sale in Mich was for a $3000 ebike like new for $1200

A rule of thumb is subtract the cost of a replacement battery before accounting for wear and tear on the bicycle parts.

You can post in the bikeforums.net classifieds for the very low price of a $3 monthly membership

You could try posting in your local newspaper. They might allow online ads where you can add a picture.

I have sold my bike on Craiglist and Its a best platform while you can post on other classifieds for a better result.

Consider my perspective, an experienced e-bike owner and shopper: the only place I would shop for one, or any used vehicle, for that matter (currently shopping for a motorcycle or scooter) is Craiglist. Pricing can be informed by a review of ads for your bikes like yours and similar bikes, locally and beyond. Buyers are likely/should be reviewing pricing the same way. Good luck on the sale.
