Also...you have a GMC Denali bike listed in your bike list...methinks Google was overworking and placing an ad to sell to a 'new one', albeit the wrong kind.

It's a really fancy SUV.
Nope- no notification by e-mail...anywhere.
Lol about the Denali. Sure, but I'm also getting political ads- which are even worse.

+1- yes, this.

I got rid of Win 10 on my desktop, that's only good for phones. On Win 7, I'm getting the nice gray background, and things move along much zippier. I imagine some of it's the ongoing upgrade in increments, but it looks really good today.

Go to the little box on the way bottom left side of the page that has a pulldown menu. Right now it says bikeforums. If you change it to default, it has a nice white/gray colorscheme that's much easier on the eyes.

So many supposed fixes for problems which should not exit in the first place.

FWIW, I just tried that while logged in from my "mobile". There was no "default" option, only BF and mobile.

Use GO ADVANCED, MANAGE ATTACHMENTS. You can upload directly from your PC or phone library.

You can also create a BF album and use the BB code link, or upload to a 3rd party site such a Photobucket or Flickr and use the BB code link from there.
Test.

^^^^^ This is how it looked before. Image comes in as an attached thumbnail instead of being inserted directly into the body of the message. Also, the image size is reduced as it was before, down to 25kb.

What am I doing wrong? I "go advanced" and manage attachments, but unless I'm just not seeing it, I can't figure out how to put the pic into the actual message...

And thanks for being patient with all our complaints...I mean questions.

That choice is now gone for me and I am back to the yellow fade.

Thanks to the admin staff for working through all this.

A tiny thing, hardly worth mention: In the prior editor, if I hit the quote button with no text selected, the cursor would wind up between the tags, now it shows up after them so I have to move it back between them to paste in the quoted text.

I just tested this and the cursur landed in between the [QUOTE] Tags. Can you double check this or tell me steps to reproduce?

A thread with that many pages should probably be closed and Part II started, that is a LOT of content.

I'm in Firefox 44.0.2 and using the enhanced wysiwig editor.

I thought I had switched to the CKE editor but it seems like some other update switched me back.

This is also a problem in vB4 (at least 4.2.x and others) and I'm betting an answer lies on the vBulletin Forums.

Or at least for the CENTER tag. I have that problem on maybe one other vB forum but I don't recall seeing it here yet.

Two little issues experienced with Chrome in Android using full site version.

1. the above Quick Links drop down menu doesn't work.

2. on the following page (and those similar), when i select a particular forum, its link is greyed and becomes smaller in size:

Bike Forums - Bike Forums

when i select it again, the selected forum opens.

I would rely on tags entirely and go advanced to preview the post and edit as you go.

Pictures are nice, what do they look like anyway? Last time I looked it's still links and attachments.

BTW, yellow fade is not only difficult on the eyes, it's harder to follow line to line. I don't like how the text goes all the way across the page (I'm using a 24" widescreen monitor, and it's a loooooong ways across the screen!), and with the fade, I sometimes have to really concentrate on where the next line is.

On Android: Also seeing the quicklinks problems, however, I'm not having any issues with the other links. Is it any forum specifically? Or random?

Need to make a distinction about the directory spillover problem for the last post link.

New Posts is fine. The home page has three lines in the cell vs. two in the New Posts and the first is blank on the home page.

EDIT: It seems like the child directories are indeed okay, it's only the parent (home page) directory I could see.

the second, issue noted above occurs on those pages where multiple forums are indexed, like this one: https://www.bikeforums.net/index.php

i tap a subforum link on that page, the link font size is reduced, i tap it again, and it opens.

certainly not as big of an issue as most others here...

edit: Quick Links dropdown is operationally sporadic in Android, as are the two other menus listed there (Community and Search).

I don't know if this is just me or if others also have the problem, but I had 12 photos in three albums and all 12 seem to have disappeared. There are blank rectangles in the albums where the photos used to be.
