Some threads will not advance past a certain page

Just noticed with "Your Most Recent Cycling-related Purchase" thread. Goes to whatever post I click on in my email notifcation, in the latest case, page 639. There are two more pages of posts--up to 641 showing as available but I can't get past 639 no matter what I click on. Seems like it happens on other threads also, but I'm starting to avoid BF because this is amazingly annoying.

It's not that there are things you aren't being allowed to see, it's a database error.

Simply report it and the staff will work on it.

This happens with several versions of vBulletin and it's being worked on.

Just saw this post. Yes, it's still happening--although it has progressed a couple pages beyond when I first reported.

This is the thread:

Your Most Recent Cycling-related Purchase - Bike Forums

It's entitled:
Your Most Recent Cycling-related Purchase

When I first posted I was "stuck" at page 639. Now I'm stuck at page 641. Indexing problem?

As of this post you made, there were only 641 pages. I subscribed to test it how you reported it, but when I clicked on the latest post, it took me to page the newly-created page 642, as it should have. Are you still encountering this problem? It was potentially an indexing problem that was resolved when the server refreshed.

Hi Joel,

Mmmmm...the last post I can see is:

https://www.bikeforums.net/19122769-post16030.html

What's been causing me to think something is wrong is that at the top of the page (642 in this case) it has pages 643 and 644 listed. When I click on one of those page 642 just reloads--which it should, if that is indeed the last page. So the glitch just seems to be in the horizontal listing of available pages????

HTH...seems odd, since the last page listed in other threads seems to be the actual last page, but not in this one.

I gotcha. Looks like an indexing error. The post you linked to is indeed the last post of the thread. It should self-resolve shortly.
