Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I'm a little drunk, and going trhough some old photos.

I love this one of my buddy Justin.

20 minutes later he opened for Gregg in Las Vegas.

That's OK, Despite liking my coffee/espresso black, I've been known to make a recovery drink of strong coffee, steamed milk, and a tbsp of sugar.

The video. Frankly, I've tried and tried to get into Prince and the only thing of his I like is the guitar solo on the tribute to George Harrison.

Summer is my down time, due to the inferno-like aspects of our summer weather.

I feel like all the flavored coffees are overdone by about 4X. Hazelnut coffee cut 3:1 with plain is pretty good. Otherwise too much of a good thing.

Fortunately I can’t eat or drink anything containing grapefruit. Lipitor doesn’t like it.

So brilliant a song I don’t have sufficient words for it. The piano was invented to play that song. The peculiar rhythm he applies to the lyrics is very attractive. One of my most favorites. It always reminds me of someone sitting down uninvited at a host’s piano at a house party and just amazing everyone.

That run was sagging really bad in one spot, so I jacked it up then screwed some 1/2' plywood on, then some 1/4" wallboard is gonna go on top of that. Hopefully that plywood sheathing holds that wall together.

Just picked up a second sheet of plywood and the drywall today. The sagging spot was by that first big knot, it was hanging down about an inch.
