Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

AC420 aero's are 34 mm. Rolf Vigor's are also 34 mm. There's also Felt TTR3, Kinlin XR380's, Mavic Cosmic Carbones, Spinergy Stealth, Dura Ace C50's, and RS80 C50's.

I've had a set of 420 Aero 3's. Solid wheelset but I didn't like the narrow width (18 mm), narrow/thin brake surface, and lack of whoosh whoosh sound. The hubs were top notch though. I run the Soul S4.0's right now but only for one ride. Seemed easier to maintain 22 mph but who knows.

Curious how much did you pay for your S4.0's.....and are they noticeably smoother than the AM's?

Got them slightly used for $300. They're $520 shipped. I'd say their hubs roll very smooth, like easton or am classic hubs. I can coast longer on those hubs than I could on Mavic hubs.
