The hamer wouldn't drope

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

The hamer wouldn't drope

It was an off day. My feline overlord decided hoomuns don't need sleep, and then it was a sweltering 73* F. Some kind of blinding gold thing in the sky was burning my skin, I think it has to be a meteorite coming to wipe us out. I checked the news, it's all about riots and killer viruses, so a meteorite would definitely be the trifecta. I tried to dial it up to 400w but the dial was broken and I only had 275.

Could have had a V8.

SW FL here, went out at 11:52PM Wednesday night with only stars in the sky and 79F greeting me. 73F requires arm and leg warmers.

You cannot drope the hamer without "the look". It is a prerequisite to the hamer drope Did you give anyone "the look'?

Would it be acceptable to give yourself the look using a helmet mirror?

You could have just headed over to the nearest hardware store for some new gloves and droped several hamers whilst perusing their "bike" aisle, all the while denigrating your LBS for not allowing you to shop at your leisure. Huzzah!

C'mon up to the Great North for a winter or two, we'll cure ya of that!

Sure got some funny looks bike commuting this winter in North Carolina during the temporary reprieve from the Great North. 50 degrees is shorts weather. 40, if it's been a long winter.

....wait, when did 73° and sunshine become something other than perfect riding weather? Would be nice to see some of that here! You can have the 90+°F with 100% humidity and consistent winds we have had this June - fair trade.
