Not really. The worst of it is coming back from Brodhead after you've already got 60 in your legs. The first and last 20 is all bike path, but it's annoyingly an ever so slight climb most of the way back.

I was thinking about going for my first 200k yesterday, but it wasn't the time. Some time this year, though.
And I still want to see if I can convince the wife drive the kids and meet me in Duluth, which would be close to 300k. No telling if I'd be in the mood to pad the ride at the end to crawl over that 300k line, though.

I was a pretty big Phil Collins fan in the very early eighties. I was living on my first farm and was just beginning my 'back to the land' phase. I listened to my cassette player, and 'The Reds' on the transistor radio while clearing the land for the small orchard. I could have really used a mountain bike but they didn't yet exist, except in California.

In other news, hurt/tweaked my back yesterday, getting out of the couch of all things. I knew “couch” is bad for but sheesh, didn’t expect the effects to be this quick.

Ha. I remember being in my mid-30's and finally having a light go on - "ohhhh! THAT'S what dehydration feels like? Well, hell, I guess I've been dehydrated half my life - I thought that **** was normal."

You just reminded me of a incident a few years ago. I was on tour and riding through the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area when I came upon a fawn at the edge of the road. It laid down flat on the pavement like a pancake. Mom came out of the woods and stood over it to protect it. I really wanted to take a photo, but I was so worried that they would get hit by a car that I kept moving to remove the threat.

So I spent my lunch break on the phone doing "peer to peer" for my patient's MRI. The first "peer" was a nurse who had to get all the history, etc. from me, then I was put on hold and spoke with presumably a real doctor, who reviewed everything with me. I did my best to lobby for the MRI (severe pain, abnormal Xray, no relief with 10 days of medical care) but of course they denied the MRI.
I expect my patient will write up a bad review for me on Yelp.
Long ago, when online reviewed FIRST started to become a thing, I made a vow to NEVER EVER NEVER look at my online reviews. I don't need my ego brushed up by positives, and I don't want to feel bad about negatives. This is a vow that I have kept. I advise any younger physicians to follow my lead.
I expect my patient will write up a bad review for me on Yelp.
