Masi - what do we have here?
Listing in the Boston, MA area, which I've read through a few times and I keep noticing some new detail in the text or photos ... what do we think of this bike, and would this price be reasonable anyway?

And “front derailleur chain rod”... took me a minute, but I think this means now there’s no cable? And why are the stickers gone now?

Very nice bike but considering it is none riding with issues I would say $350-400 bike.ride myself I would shoot for $300 end of the day it is a none rider with mechanical issues that well cost between $100 to $300 to fix if there is nothing else other than what is seen said I always assume there is more and I'm right 90% of the time on vintage bikes so figure on the high side repair wise. If it was really clean ready to ride condition with nice saddle. tires and had the toe clips and straps for the pedals I could see a $700-880 value maybe a bit more if the paint was cleaned up nicely waxed.

...here's what the fork pantographing and lugwork looks like on a higher end Masi built in Italy. I think the bike in question is contract built, and the detailing is less obsessive. All things named "Masi" are not equivalent. All those Campy New REcord components have some intrinsic value, though. I don't know anything about what this stuff sells for near Boston.

At $500, that bike looks darn good. Decals are easily available, just clearcoat over them. Parts look like they are in pretty good shape. Some shallow cross-threading of the pedal is rarely a big deal with those cranks. It's not a Gran Criterium, but a then a good GC, just the frame, w/headset and BB might cost about that...

Very pretty, (Beautiful, actually). I'm guessing that's not original paint. Note that Repechage said the orange one had nothing to do with Alberto, but was probably contract built in Italy.
Wwwwwaaaait just a minute! What is that black stuff, doing mounted on that Masi???
