They're going for $1900 plus tax from Specialized.com, but in the 2019 model year. $1900 out the door sounds right for the prior year's model, which I believe is the same. You'll love the bike.

I’m looking at the Comp Carbon. I thought the 2019 is $3750 and the 2018 was $3000?

So a $3000 retail bike is priced at $1900. Are you asking if that price is proper? If so...sure, i guess. Interesting word choice, but yeah it seems proper. Why wouldnt it though?...you are getting 1/3 off a bike simply for it not being the latest model.

Then that's a steal. I paid $2700 for my '19 Diverge Sport (105 hydraulic).

I thought it was a steal too. I have to wait for them to put it together, then I can see it.

That is a steal. Don't let it get away! The 2018 Comp Carbon was originally $3,000 w/ the Shimano 105 group. The 2019 model now called the Sport is still $3,000 and has slightly nicer wheels and lesser quality seat-post but is the same bike. The 2019 Carbon Comp (new bike) is $3750 but has the Ultegra group, nicer crankset and same wheels as the 2019 Sport, but has the better seat-post.

I almost bought the 2018 Carbon Comp but bought the lesser 2018 Carbon Sport and traded in the Tiagra shifters/ mechanical brakes to go with Ultegra mech shifters/hydro brakes and ended up spending ~3200 total for a bike that finally came out in 2019 as the now named Carbon Comp.

Ok thnx. I see they changed the names from ‘18-‘19. $3000 for the ‘19. $1900 for the ‘18.
