2012 Madone 3.1 Apex
I'm looking at a Madone 3.1 Apex for 1669.99 possibly discounted an additional 10% for military, am I looking at a good deal if it fits me?

I had dreams about that damn bike. I don't know whether to take it as a good or bad sign. Either way I feel like I'm losing my mind until the shop opens.

The 3.1 was far from being in my size but I ended up getting sold on a 2012 Madone 4.5 WSD Compact, at a good sale price too. I know it is a women's bike but I have short arms, legs and torso so it is going to work for me.

Hopefully it has delicate flowers and gentle shades of pink and blue on the frame.

I don't know about the flowers but I do enjoy the shades of blue used. I just wish it was here already, waiting for it to be shipped.

Not sure if I'd tell your military mates that it's a women's frame.

In May 2012 I bought a new 2011 3.1 105 from my LBS for $1300.00. They like me.

This will be the first bike I've purchased in about five years. I've been riding an '85 Schwinn Traveler that I was given and it is way too big for me.
