Huffy ?
With a bunch of upgrades could a Wally World huffy be turned into an ok cruiser bike ?
I like the looks of it. Maybe a project just for the fun of it ?

To me its about the fit. If it doesnt fit right I wont ride it.
My wife picked up a huffy and I had to disassemble it and re lube everything, changed the seat and all was well enough for her but i like the larger more open feel of the Electra.
I did find this online and it seems like a deal.

I've seen one or three done...it's all at your discretion, dowhatchuwannado. Samerica.

I really like springer forks. I tried on and off for years to find one for my Electra without breaking the bank and never had any luck.
Even though I didn’t need it for $80 that’s a hell of a deal.

Yep. Been down that path myself a few times. Pretty sturdy machines, the luck is finding one with wheels close enough to true that you can make 'em a bit better at home.

I never got a bike for $80, but then again, this is my springer bike.

Looked again this morning and the Schwinn Swindler Cruiser was still available for $80 . Three times checking it out and I couldn’t help myself . I added a couple small items to get free shipping and ordered one .
I guess I should say thanks for posting the link . LOL !
Something to tinker with .

But I think this one is a bigger framed cruiser.
I found this
“ The Schwinn Swindler Bicycle has a steel cruiser 18” / Medium frame, finished in black, with a 29” standover height”
with the 27.5” wheels , it should be a pretty good size bike . 27.5 are the same as a 650b which is what’s on my Specialized Roll . Big wheels .
Not trying to talk you into one . Reviews were all over the place but averaged about 3.5 or better .
For $80 I thought it would be a fun one to tinker with .
Mine shipped today . I hope it survives the FedEx Shipping . I’ll let you know in about a week .
First thing I’ll do with it is to get rid of the fenders . They look cheap . If possible I’ll add a front brake .

I too have found Schwinn Cruisers to be on the small side . I once ordered one through Walmart , assembled it , rode it down the driveway , pushed it back to the garage , loaded it up and returned it to my local Walmart .
But I think this one is a bigger framed cruiser.

I cant find any info at all on it though and would be curious. Good luck with it and for $80 how can you go wrong?
