Well ... I may have to move my pain cave. Typically it's in a room off the back of the house, however it has no heat or A/C. The A/C isn't the issue ... the 8 below temps this morning (was double digit below overnight) are making even my little space heater out there not want to work. I may have to move it into a spare bedroom (which was actually the servant's quarters originally).

Random stuff since its been so quiet here:
Here in SoCal we've had no rain since May. The good news is still great riding weather, albeit a bit cold for me first thing in the am, it was 49 when I rolled out today, but warmed up to the 60s quickly.
Did a nice ride while visiting family on the central coast this week. Pismo Beach, San Luis Obispo and surrounding areas.
My new rear wheel has shipped, so should get that next week. Will then look into rebuilding my other one.
One of club members got clipped by a BMW today, driver rolled a right turn on red. Fortunately not badly hurt. Be safe out there!
My LBS is getting a Niner RLT RDO in next week, will checking it out.
My oldest daughter is now engaged.
That's all for now!

Got back from my club ride today and saw that I had 299,393 feet of elevation gain for the year. That just wouldn't do, so I went out and did another 617 feet to finish 2017 at 300,010'.

After the 82 miler on Friday, I saw I was ~4k shy of 400k vertical for the year, and made absolutely zero effort to get it.
Finished the Rapha Festive, hit my 10k mile goal for the year (barely,) and I'm just trying to enjoy the weather as long as it lasts.
Oh, and half of my tires and all of my chains are wearing out all at once. Sigh.
