These are showing "Local Pickup" here in a couple of stores.

I thought there was one size narrower, but the 25/32 should fit most narrow tires. Anyway, the best way to verify stock is to go to the store and see what is on the shelf. Also try other local department stores.

Last time I bought 700c tubes from Walmart they were waaay too big, one was so big I couldn't even use it. Bunched up inside the tire, as soon as it got any air it would push the tire off the rim.

I mean, I can understand being a little bit out of tolerance, but this is ridiculous:

I only buy them online now. But I never see 700c tubes at Walmart any more either.

That is the first thought that came to mind when I read your post.

You might try using the narrowest shrader-valve 26" innertube they have at your nearby walmart, but it may not work well, especially at higher pressures.

Even Walmarts I've seen with 700 tubes either keep cheap Bells or a really heavy duty Goodyear that is a monster to keep as a spare in a seat bag. Some may carry Presta and/or Schrader.

Yeah the 700C's disappear quick. Probably others like me that don't want to pay shipping for online retailers. When I'm down to my last few spares, as soon as one of the four near me show in stock, I go and buy all they have on the shelf.

We're just opposite. I have low profile rims on both my bikes and the LBS's around here are only stocking longer stems. Once I was desperate, Walmart was out, the bike shop close to my house was out of everything but 60mm stems. 2-1/4" looked like six inches sticking out of my Weinmann A124 concave rims. I was so happy when it finally flatted.

If it's like the valve stem in the middle, you need a new tube. I've had this type of failure on tubes used in the winter. Your valve may have enough rubber left to look like a grommet.

There is nothing wrong with using Presta Tubes on Schrader rims as long as you have an adapter. It if is worth it or not is a different question.

A lot of forum members also say the adapter isn't important. Quite a few people on the forum claim decades and thousands of miles of no problems running Presta on Schrader rims.

Doing what I have been doing is in no way unusual.
Learn something new everyday.
. An adapter makes sense
In a pinch, or all the time?

For me, I run shrader tubes in my shrader wheels, older folks forget , So tubes in the seat bag & spares in the fridge (don’t tell my wife)

Presta the same

Went tubeless on Sirrus road bike
Carry presta tube in seat bag

I always carry a spare tube. Makes on the road puncture repair so much quicker.

If you don't mind waiting for new tubes through the mail, Nashbar is having a no-shipping special this weekend.
