I actually hit 1000 just prior to this also... If you look at the power indicator below, but I missed the pic on that one so I circled for a sec and did it again... This time I had the Ipad on the table right next to my bike with ZML all set to take the shot.

Well, I hit level 7 and 800 watts yesterday, but that's a long way from 1,000-congrats.

Got a chance to ride after bike service. The new bottom bracket cartridge plus the tuneup have quieted the thing down a lot. No more chatter - just a gentle whirring noise as the chain goes through, plus the noise from the Kickr.

I had, at times in the past ... then I learned the Airplane mode technique.

Then yesterday, while leading the C/A ride, even with the Airplane mode trick I lost connection toward the end of the ride.

Haven't been on yet today, but I've read others having similar issues. May have started with the latest update.

I have connection issues with ZML at times. I have found that if I unplug our router for a minute and plug it back in...and let it reboot...I connect. If I don't do that, connecting is more often failing.

I use the airplane mode trick when it happens but it’s rare anymore.

Oh yeah hit 900 Watts today AND 67mph one going up to the radio tower and the orther coming down. Took me over an hour to get up there Jess! 1000 seems impossible on my 48 tooth ring. It was all I had to hit 917.

Yeah, with the aero boost.

I actually got it the first time I went to the radio tower but the other day I had no powerups and even WITH the zipp 808s and about 600W I only hit 98 kph.

Up Leith Hill today for the first time ... there's a sustained stretch about the middle of the climb where it hits 10% and just kind of stays there, where I was questioning myself (I'm still coming back from a head cold) but I just geared down and suffered.

And the kicker at the last corner makes you want to die.

Sad that I knew immediately what was meant by your post title. Got an Elite Direto for Christmas and am now obsessed with Zwift. Currently a ride or two short of level 7 and so looking forward the the Jungle route. Down about 10 lbs in currently at 235. Goal is get to 210 by April and < 200 by June. Ride On👍

Yeah, so I was going the other way just now— up Keith Hill— and on the backside saw it tip -10% so I jumped on it and went to 1,155w and 53.2mph, which earned the extra credit badge Off The Rocks for 1100w. That works out to somewhere around 83kph, but I didn’t see another badge for speed; I was expecting one for 65kph maybe.

https://www.strava.com/activities/1360322591

EDIT: Ah, reviewing above, I see it’s a 65 MPH bonus. Guess I’ll need to go earlier, harder, and longer if I want that on Keith/Leith; my 5sec power was 1135w, so maybe once I clear the Keith summit finish arch, if I kick it up before it goes -10% and jump just as soon as it does, I can get there. I dunno, though...65 is a long way from 53mph powerwise. I might need that long descent on Watopia.

Fastest way to level 10 is to do the 25 lap of Volcano circuit either clockwise or Counter clockwise (ccw) circuit. You get 1000XP for 10 laps and 1000XP for 25 laps and since you reach 100KM before you reach 25 laps you knock out that badge and get 500XP for that. Throw in the XP for each mile or KM.....and you should be within shouting distance of level 10.

Also, set yourself up on the TT bike before you do this.

That way, whenever you cross the start/finish line, rather than getting a power up (Featherweight, Draft Boost, etc) you'll either get the small XP or large XP. I think the small is 10 XP and the large is 25?

Im working on level 12 and the zipp 202's....but really am seeking the aero bike at level 13. By then I should have California challenge completed and have gotten the S-Works. Then on to the Everest Challenge. Right now I'm still focused on distance vs climbing due to hip recovery. But soon I will be seeking the added climbing to get myself ready for AIDS Lifecycle in June

Not to thread jack or anything but I have gotten a 10, 30, and 250 bonus. I am pretty sure 10/30 are the regular ones and the "big bonus" is 250. Gotten in twice.

I'm in the midst of the 7,000 point slog from 12 to 13 ... looking for that aero bike as well.

And like you, when I reach that I should be just about finishing up the California challenge.

I flip flop back and forth ... if I know I'm riding distance, I'll select California. If I know I'll be climbing, I'll select Everest.

We are basically doing the same thing. I am 1100 points away from 13, about 100 miles yet to finish California then I am going for the climbing mission. I really want that tron bike and I want a jersey that says LEVEL 15 on the back! Unless I can pound out the 100 mile jersey then i would never switch from that, EVER!

Zwift has been a great winter tool for me to keep me riding, but its also been a curse because I am so obsessed!

I am working on the 14 days in a row achievement, got 9 days in and my work schedule will actually allow me to get the 14 days....I am giddy! Seems so silly to think about it really to be so excited about a darn icon on a game more or less.
