Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Surely the result of the Presixent's infrastructure plan.

I thought the main reason to drain the water heater is so that it lasts longer?

I've never watched an NBA allstar game. Is it a waste of time? Is it more boring than auto racing? More exciting than curling?

Music is a funny and powerful thing. It takes me back to places and times I liked or did not. Today I went for a spin in the Corvette and had ELO blaring. I liked ELO when is was maybe a freshman in high school but caved to pear pressure and swore them off for AC/DC and the like.

I am old enough now not to give a crap. ELO rocks.

Shaw Butte Trail #306 I did the up and back instead of the loop and it came to 2.8 miles hiking, 850' elevation gain. Up was amazing, adrenaline-fueled, "Top of the world, Ma!" On the way down, I understood why so many people have walking staffs or trekking poles because that's when you find out how old your knees really are. Luckily, I had packed some Tylenol and a Red Bull and by the time I was back on level ground, I couldn't tell I'd done any hiking at all and I was already wondering about a trail nearby.

I had a Red Bull once, before a bike ride. Once was enough.

The frame/ISO Speed seems to mute the jolts nicely without feeling like suspension and the road-holding, for lack of a better term, over bumps seems pretty exceptional. Can't wait for the road to widen and the debris to clear so that I can slap the skinny wheels on there and get out on a good ride.
Sweet.

Oh, that's the song from Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Cool,
great movie and appropriate that it was used in discussing memories.

It’s to get the sediment out and yes, the bottom element will last longer, talking electric here. Don’t know poop about gas.

My manual says to check the primary anode rod every so often, too. Ain’t never done that on any of my water heaters.
