Well what tipped the scale was they have not confirmed that my new bile wont be assembled until 4/30/17 and that they had plenty of orders if I wanted to cancel (WTF!) How does a company roll out a new model and from day one its back ordered. BS !
So Now I start over. jitteringjr I am looking at the emondas.. and in some cases the older ones cost just a tad less than the new ones. Did you get all your pricing from the Trexbikes and Canyon us websites? I look for a while on criagslist, Proscloset, Bike Exchange, but it was making my head spin. My budget remains at around $2,700. I am Colombian so Canyon (Nairo) seems to have a good ring to it. Any other advice on getting something that looks like what I was getting would be welcome... 15 lbs sure sounded sweet for the money. Again thank you all for the advice .. I got attached and was ignoring the obvious.

I just posted some under $1500 bikes from Performance and Nashbar.
If you budget is around $2,700.Oh boy.I'm not sure what to suggest.
The Emondas are very nice. The Fuji SL frames are very light.
Find A good LBS and fitter.
And **** Rose bikes.
