1993 Fuji Touring VII What do I have here?
Hey all, first time posting to the forums! I'm excited to be surrounded by other biking enthusiasts. I recently acquired an old road bike from a friend. I have never ridden road bikes before so I took some images and I wanna ask you guys... What do I have here? If I need to supply any additional information or photos then please let me know! Thanks in advance for all those who lend some information.

A pretty nice full-blown touring bike. Bar end shifters, chrome moly frame and forks, and in really nice shape! Get some racks and panniers and ride it cross country, or use it to commute, or just to go on long rides. U B lucky! If it's your size, U B X-tra lucky! You can also post it on the "touring" section of bike forums.

Thanks! It is indeed in wonderful shape! I rode it a few times this winter but it's been too cold for anything serious. I am in love with it, I've always wanted a bike with the Fuji name.
I think it is my size! What do you mean by chrome moly frame and forks?

Chromoly (Chrome Molybdenum) Steel
A workhorse of the industry, chromoly is a light, strong steel. When it is butted and shaped to take off excess weight, it can deliver a fairly light frame that will last through years of hard use. Chromoly is responsive and offers good flex while maintaining its form.

This is exactly what I wanted to get from joining the forum.
Thanks everyone for your time and assistance!
I’m quite proud of the machine. It rides incredibly smooth and has excellent power transfer.

Nice bike. Lugged frame, threaded stem, cantilever brakes. Pretty soon after this was made the entire bike industry went through a dramatic design shift. So, you've got one of the last of this design style of Fuji. The stem is probably not original. I don't think Fuji would have put a riser stem on a drop bar bike. But, if you want to convert to upright bars you're halfway there already.

I thought the stem was aftermarket too. The seat certainly is and I thought the pedals were aftermarket.
I wish it weren’t 34 degrees and raining or else I’d be out riding.
