replacement for Garmin, Instinct
After 2 years of good service my Garmin, Instinct has started to give me bad readings. First it was the decent, now it's every thing from steps to sleep I can't trust. Being out of warranty I believe it's just better to pull the plug and get a new gadget. I like the Instinct but is there any other equipment that will give me the same level of information and versatility?

You don't say if there is anything else you need from your device or whether cycling is the only thing you do. Here are some Garmin's I just randomly picked to compare. They cost more and do more, but you might not want any of what they do more of.

2 years isn't good service. I've got Garmin's from before 2005 that still work. None that have ever quit. When I had my sailboat there was even a chartplotter on it that we used as a spare that was under water after Katrina but still worked after we floated the boat and cleaned it up.
