Knee pain while training.
I am pretty sure this is from overtraining as I just started but when I am riding on my trainer I get a distinct pain in my right knee that I never get in my left knee. The image shows the exact location of the pain. I have a bike fit scheduled for next week but does anyone have any ideas as to how I can adjust my setup now to better the chances of lowering the paint other then not riding? It is my right knee

Post 2 is all good information. Meanwhile, check your bike fit - here's my primer: https://www.bikeforums.net/21296948-post3.html
Do these stretches every morning: https://www.bikeforums.net/road-cycl...l#post15372967
While waiting for that to do some good, you can try taking 600 mg ibuprofen every 6 hours for a few days. If that fixes it, it was probably a swollen tendon sheath or bursa. If that doesn't fix it, and the above isn't working either, it's doctor time.
It's not overtraining in any case, but rather a minor injury caused by doing too much, too soon, without doing some attendant stretching and strength training.
